It’s time to host another fun, simple contest that everyone can take part in! The last time we held this contest we got a huge number of entries and everyone had alot of fun taking part! This is an easy contest to be a part of and we want all of you to give it a shot!
We’re asking you to to design the best Headgear (this includes hats, hair accessories, headbands,caps..let that imagination run wild) AND/OR Handhelds, that you can come up with! Because we know how much you all enjoyed our last few Clothing Contests we couldn’t wait to host this one for you to show off your creativity!!! Pleasse note your designs do not have to fit a particular theme. Just design any headgear / handheld (unisex) and enter the contest
The Headgear and Handheld Design Contest is going to work just like the Design an Outfit Contest worked . We have one thread up to submit contest entries and another thread to discuss the contest. Let’s walk you guys through on how to submit an entry:
Step 1
We want to see what your Headgear or Handheld will look like on a Yoville avatar so the first thing you will need to do is find an avatar to create the design for. This can be your own avatar or another avatar found on Yoville.com.Then take a screenshot of that avatar by holding down Ctrl, Alt and PrtSc.
Step 2
Then go to Paint or Photoshop or any type of image editing program you have installed on your computer and Paste your Screen shot. From here please use the tools provided to edit your image. You may have to crop to remove any unnecessary parts of your screen shot so you only have the avatar to work with. Have fun with it!! Don’t be afraid to use color or get creative! Make sure to save along the way!!
Step 3
Next you are going to have to upload your image to an Image hosting site like Tinypic orPhotobucket. If you do not already have an account you will need to create one. Once that you have uploaded your picture to your account your image will be given links and codes for the image. Make sure to Copy the IMG Code provided for your image.
Step 4
Paste your IMG code into the Headgear and Handheld Design Contest thread (ONLY for submissions). Any discussions about the contest belongs HERE . Keeping these two threads separate will help us be able to sort through entries when choosing the top 10-20 entries. Make sure that your entry does not break the rules below otherwise your entry will be deleted.
RULES & GUIDELINES:
- Headgear and Handheld Entries will be accepted from Sunday 19 March, 2012 @ 2:00 AM (PST) to Tuesday 20 March, 2012 @ 11:59 PM (PST)
*PLEASE NOTE YOU MAY ENTER ANY UNISEX DESIGN. Your design does not have to fit with a particular theme. Use your imagination and come up with your best ideas!
- Players may submit only ONE Headgear and /or Handheld design each. Entering more than one of each will result in disqualification.
- You will need to submit your entries on this can be your own avatar or another avatar found on Yoville.com or in game. Only YoVille Avatars will be accepted. Clothing and other Entries placed on other Avatars will be disqualified
- Please do not use any other trademark or copyright designs in your entries. We will not be accepting any entries that include such designs.
- Players who choose to design both a handheld and headgear entry must do so in a single entry post. Only ONE entry post per player. Please do not post more than once. Otherwise you will be disqualified! Spamming your entry will not be allowed.
- NO Copying of other player’s entries or original artwork. This will not be tolerated. All designs must be created by you! Breaking this rule will receive an immediate disqualification as well.
- No insulting or making negative comments about other contest entries, this will not be allowed and may result in the disqualification of your entry.
- Please enter your submission on the following thread HERE **Please note we will only be accepting entries from this thread**
-The winners will be decided by Ninjas and this decision will be final. There will be no voting for this contest.
Prizes:
The best entry from each category will be our winners i.e. we will have a total of TWO winners.
The two winners will receive 50 yocash each, receive their winning design in the game and see their designs in the stores!
Please note that the Ninja’s will be picking the winners for this contest, so make sure to give it your best shot and impress us!
